The HY5WS-17/50DL-TB Plug-in and Removable Dropout Surge Arrester is designed for 10kV distribution systems and combines a zinc oxide surge arrester with a dropout mechanism. This configuration allows operators to inspect, service, or replace the arrester using an insulated operating rod, without requiring a complete power shutdown.
